Ghost Rider: The Extended Cut (2007) - Coming in January, 2012
2007's Ghost Rider made its audience ask all sorts of questions - questions like, "Why isn't this movie about Sam Elliott's character?" "How did they make a Marvel movie even worse than Daredevil?" "Did anybody tell Eva Mendes the cameras were on?" And, of course, "Is all of this really worth it, just to watch Nicolas Cage's head burst into flames?"
As far as the Kids are concerned, by the way, the answers are, "Because that would have been a good movie," "With considerable effort," "Of course not," and "It's worth every penny. Burn, Nicky! Burn!"
We asked our fans what movie they wanted us to take on, and -- surprise, surprise! -- Ghost Rider, proving that our fans either really, really want this movie riffed, or they really, really hate us and want us to suffer.
So Glen, Charles, and Elizabeth are going to buckle down, strap on their helmets, and hope for the sweet, sweet release of death. Just keep repeating to yourself, It's only a movie... it's only a movie... it's only a movie... with an upcoming sequel....
Ghost Rider: The Extended Cut will be an audio-only joint and will be available from the iRiffs store in January, 2012. It is tested to work with the Ghost Rider: Extended Cut blu-ray and DVD. All other editions are untested. And yes, the chances are very good that this will sync with the copy you got from Netflix.

Captain America (1990) - Coming in March, 2012

Original art: Kids on the Street artwork pending.
In 1966, we learned that when Captain America throws his mighty shield, all those who chose to oppose his shield must yield.
In 1979, Reb Brown put on a blue motorcycle helmet, stuck his clear plastic shield to the front of a motorcycle, and roared off into unsuccessful pilot history. Twice.
And in 2011, Chris Evans gave up being the Human Torch and moved into a much more successful franchise as the Star-Spangled Man.
But what about the 1990's? Did Cap really take two decades off?
Of course not! In 1990, he took to a non-descript ruined castle somewhere in Italy to fight his arch-nemesis, The Red Skull (who had plastic surgery because, when you're a menacing evil genius, the last thing you want is to look scary). The movie was obviously such an instant classic that it took a full two years for the studio to release it direct to video stores -- and when it faded from existence with barely a whisper, fans everywhere breathed a sigh of relief.
But one successful movie later, the 1990 Captain America - starring J.D. Salinger's son and directed by the man who brought you Alien From L.A. -- comes roaring out of the depths of VHS history to terrorize you once again. But never fear! With a mighty "Kids on the Street, Assemble!" Glen calls together Kristy and Elizabeth to help him sit through a viewing of a movie he once said was "not that bad" -- back when he was twelve.
Captain America will be an audio-only joint and will be available from the iRiffs store in February, 2012. It is tested to work with the MGM Limited Edition Collection DVD-R. All other editions are untested.

Short Subjects
Ghost Rider (1982) - Coming in February, 2012

Kids on the street artwork still pending.
We all know what was missing from 2007's Ghost Rider with Nicholas Cage. Anybody can see what was missing, but we don't want to embarrass the producers by pointing it out.
But it needs to be said, so The Kids on the Street will say it.
Bus Safety.
What Ghost Rider needed was bus safety tip, and lots of them -- preferably accompanied by the story of a mysteriously disappearing girl on a school bus.
That's what school audiences got in 1982 when Pennsylvania State University unleashed "Ghost Rider" on an unsuspecting public, with more bus safety rules than the audience had ever seen before! But they forgot about the flaming skull and motorcycle.
It doesn't matter - the Kids on the Street love it, anyway! And they're proud to present it to you. Watch along as Glen, Charles, and Kristy learn everything they need to know about bus safety in "Ghost Rider!"
"Ghost Rider" will be a video-on-demand product, available in the iRiffs store in February, 2012.
